Cancellation Policy
**Cancellation Policy Agreement** This Cancellation Policy is an integral part of the agreement between Lodestar Medina Carpentry and the Client concerning the project outlined in the agreement dated. 1. **Scope of Policy** This Policy applies to any cancellations initiated by the Client after the commencement of the project and after materials have been purchased specifically to fulfill the terms of the project. 2. **Cancellation Fee** In the event of a cancellation by the Client, the Company will charge a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total project cost. This fee is intended to cover costs incurred by the Company, including but not limited to, materials, labor, and other resources allocated to the project. 3. **Notification of Cancellation** The Client must provide written notice of cancellation to the Company. The notice should be sent via email or certified mail to Matthewmedina@lonestarmedinacarpentry.com. The cancellation will be effective upon the Company's receipt of this notice. 4. **Non-Refundable Costs** Any costs associated with materials that have already been purchased and cannot be returned will be deducted from any potential refunds to the Client, in addition to the 25% cancellation fee. 5. **Acknowledgment of Understanding** By Paying the agreed deposit this Policy, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the terms outlined herein. The Client understands that the cancellation fee is a reasonable estimate of the damages that the Company would incur as a result of the cancellation. 6. **Governing Law** This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. 7. **Entire Agreement** This Policy constitutes the entire agreement concerning the cancellation terms and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements or understandings. By Accepting and paying the agreed deposit, the Client agrees to adhere to the terms of this Cancellation Policy.
